September 5, 2024 - Facility Update

We are pleased to share that the installation of the new tapered roof for the Norduff Room is underway this week. Once the roof repairs are complete, the ceiling tiles within the Norduff Room will be replaced.

During the demolition phase of the ice surface, we encountered some unexpected structural issues that required immediate attention to ensure the long-term viability and safety of the facility. These issues caused a month delay, but have been fully addressed and the rink slab work has resumed.  We understand how important this facility is to the community, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges.

We remain committed to delivering a fully restored and enhanced arena, and we now anticipate ice rentals starting November 24th, 2024. We are continuing to work to expedite the works and ice installation. We will keep you informed of any further updates and the revised timeline for the completion of the project.
