The Recreation Master Plan strategically guides and manages municipal planning for parks and recreation assets and services over the next ten years. This Plan was finalized in February 2021 and covers up until 2030. The Plan has developed recommendations to accommodate the current and future recreational needs of the Township of Mulmur. Needs and strategies are based on Indoor Facilities, Outdoor Amenities, Parklands and Trails, and Service Delivery. The Master Plan provides guidance to develop an appropriate level of service related to recreation for Mulmur residents.
The recreational services at the North Dufferin Community Centre are reviewed by Dufferin County to ensure that services are provided at the appropriate cost. The existing government structure is assessed to investigate the options for the future of the facility, which is required to provide programs to the community in a financially sustainable manner.
