Pursuant to s.16.9 of O.Reg. 239/02 as amended, the Township of Mulmur is declaring a Significant Weather Event with respect to ice formation, starting at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025 and continuing until further notice.
Users of the Township roads are advised to postpone non-essential travel to allow time for crews to clear downed trees and hydro lines.
As our community experiences this significant weather event, we want to remind our residents that the Township of Mulmur's Administrative Office is open and available as a resource for those in need.
Our office, located at 758070 2nd Line East, is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Residents are welcome to visit the office to warm up, charge their devices, access our free WiFi, use the washroom facilities, and access drinking water.
Buckets of drinking water are available for pick up by Mulmur residents at the Township Office at 758070 2nd Line East (during office hours and after hours outside the office's front door).
Ice River Springs has also donated drinking water to assist Mulmur's residents during this challenging time. This bottled water is available for pick up at the Mulmur-Melancthon Fire Department at 706116 County Road 21 on April 1st from 2:00 PM to 9:00PM.
