Mulmur Declares State of Emergency
MULMUR, ON – On April 3, 2025 at 08:00, Mayor Janet Horner, declared a state of emergency for the Township of Mulmur due to the significant damage caused by the recent ice storm, subsequent severe weather, and ongoing power outages. The Township is committed to addressing residents' needs while facilitating a safe and efficient clean-up process.
Emergency Measures
Reconnection of Hydro in hardest hit areas remains unknown at this time. Door-to-door wellness checks will be commencing in the hardest-hit areas. Dufferin County EMS will be onsite at Township of Mulmur Office on April 4th at 8:00 a.m. for residents requiring assistance.

Mulmur Township Office as of Saturday, April 5th at 12:00 PM. Please remember to bring your own towel and toiletries for us of the shower facilities.
Debris Management: A debris management plan is being developed. Residents are encouraged to follow safe practices when dealing with generators, chainsaws and debris removal.

Honeywood Arena Update & Kraft Hockeyville Event Relocation
The Honeywood Arena remains closed until further notice. With just days left before the Kraft Hockeyville nationwide vote to determine the winner of $250,000 in arena upgrades and an NHL game, the community is rallying harder than ever. The originally planned events for April 4th and 5th will now take place at Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex, 200 Fiddle Park Lane, Shelburne.
