700 Kilometres. Two People. One Open Road.  Stories from the Camino is an intimate fireside conversation about walking the Camino de Santiago. In the fall of 2025, local couple Jim Firth and Samantha Ferens set out to walk the Camino Frances —the most well known route of this 1,000 year old pilgrimage across northern Spain—to celebrate their 60th birthdays. What began as a quiet idea five years earlier became a lifechanging journey of nearly 700 kilometres over five weeks.  Join us for an evening of storytelling, reflection, and shared experience as they recount the preparation, the people met along the way, the challenges, and the unexpected gifts of the road. Along the way, you’ll also pick up practical insights and gentle tips on planning and preparing for the Camino. If you’re curious, dreaming, or seriously considering the walk yourself, bring your questions along.  An invitation to the road—no boots required!  Tickets: $20 + tax includes entrance to event, a beautiful selection of baked goods and coffee and tea.Bar open for additional beverage purchases.  Questions? 705-435-4479 or events@mansfieldoutdoorcentre.ca
