Birding Workshop: Spring Migration
- April 25, 2026 @ 7:30 am to 9:30 am
Spring is in the air—and so are the birds. Join us for a guided morning birding workshop focused on spring migration, when our trails come alive with returning songbirds and seasonal visitors. This is a perfect time to sharpen your identification skills, learn migration patterns, and enjoy the excitement of spotting birds on the move. We ran two birding workshops last season with a great response, and Ryan and Christie are back by popular demand for more birding fun this year. Whether you’re brand new to birding or already hooked, this relaxed and engaging workshop is a great way to kick off the season – all experience levels welcome! We will walk up to 3kms of flat trails near the Pine River. Come dressed for the weather and/or bugs. Binoculars are highly recommended! Cost: $15 + tax per person for season pass holders $20 + tax per person for non-season pass holders (includes a day pass) Your hosts: Ryan started birding about 12 years ago and Christie started birding during her ornithology course as part of her biology degree. Ryan and Christie are volunteers for Birds Canada and the Breeding Bird Atlas of Ontario.
