Mulmur Township was successful in obtaining $13,500 from the Ontario150 Community Capital Program Grant program. This grant was awarded for the replacement of the entrance doors of the North Dufferin Community Centre in Honeywood. This renovation has increased safety and made accessibility improvements. Administered by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Ontario150 Community Capital Program grants help to non-profit organizations, municipalities and Indigenous communities to renovate, repair and retrofit existing community and cultural infrastructure.
An agency of the Government of Ontario, the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is one of Canada’s largest granting foundations. With a budget of over $136 million, OTF awards grants to some 1,000 projects every year to build healthy and vibrant Ontario communities.
