Thank you to all who braved the scorching heat and made it out to our Dog Jog. What a hot one, but we all survived! Lots of water all around for both humans and pups! Some brave souls even jogged up and down the road. We loved meeting all your gorgeous furry companions (and of course you too)! Thank you Swissridge Kennels and Olympus K9 for donated amazing prizes. All donations and raffle proceeds went to the OVC Pet Trust charity. Our Mayor Paul Mills and his lovely wife Linda were our judges for the contest. We think they did an awesome job and thank them so much for joining us!
Mulmur Day started with a fantastic Township-wide scavenger hunt. Children's activities started at the Township Office at 4. children had fun with the lawn games, exploring the Agricultural Truck, crafts, face painting, balloon animals, airbrush tattoos. The Honeywood Fire Department was on site with a fire truck and also bartended for the evening. Dinner was a free pig roast with everyone's potluck contributions.
